For about as long as mankind has been telling stories, we have been telling stories about monsters, boogey-men and things that go bump in the night. As dark ages gave way to enlightenment, we forgot that these stories were not just entertainment. Well, most of us did.

To the few that fight monsters, though, that fiction is vital. Beginning with hunters like Bram Stoker and Percy Shelley, monster hunters encoded their lore inside works of fiction.
